About Me
I am proudly fifth generation from the wonderful Sandpoint, Idaho.
When I’m not working, I am doing one of my millions of hobbies or enjoying nature with my husband and dog. I love to ski, swim, forage, hike, and pick huckleberries.
A through-line and a saving grace in my life has been my creative pursuits.
Throughout my life I continued to creatively write, paint, make pottery, glass blow, draw, and make photography. I have found it easiest to communicate who I am/ what I feel through these mediums.
I always knew I wanted a creative business, something that would allow the combination of my right-brain creativity with my left-brain interest in entrepreneurship. Those interests led me to become part of The Franke Global Leadership Initiative and chairing Public Relations for the Beta Phi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Montana.
I transferred to Western Governors University in 2020, graduating in 2024 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Marketing. During this time, I was lucky to work with various businesses and gained understanding of marketing needs within my community.
Growing up in a small. mountain town has taught me a lot- love for nature, love for your neighbors, doing your best, and being good on your word. Those principles are the heart of Flaura Co.
